John Paul Young is one of the most iconic artists in Australian music’s history, with over four million worldwide album sales and numerous awards.

We handled the PR media launch around his latest memoir J.P.Y: The Autobiography with New Holland Publishers — which shares his music success from the mid-70s through the late 80s and the resurgence of his well-known anthem ‘Love is in the Air’.

Our approach was simple; target and connect with JPY fans in a memorable and meaningful way. In order to do so, we secured media coverage in top-tier publications and coordinated in depth feature interviews. We developed a series of tailored news angles which were distributed to key media targets.

In a matter of weeks, the book was sold out — nationwide. We achieved over 67 pieces of coverage across TV, print, online, with over 45 radio interviews.
